The Wizarding World

I was asked by the BBC to illustrate/design a placeholder image and title card to be used for a documentary on The Secret Of The Wizarding World (Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them). The placeholder was used on social media and on the main iPlayer site whilst the title card appeared in the documentary itself. This was later broadcast on the CBBC channel on TV.

For the title card I referenced the great work of Minalima, the designers behind the graphics for the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films. In particular I looked at their work for the Daily Prophet newspaper within the films and worked on the typography with a similar method.

For the placeholder I tried to cram in a lot of Potter references throughout the illustration as well as illustrating Eddie Redmayne, Daniel Radcliffe and the presenter Ali Plumb.
